Objectives

The aim of the project is to provide an agreed, written Scottish Technical Standard for Finfish Aquaculture in such a format that it can be adopted by Scottish Ministers under the provisions of the Aquaculture and Fisheries (Scotland) Act 2013.

 

In order to achieve that aim, the project’s objectives are:

 

  • To assist with the establishment of a Steering Group (badged as a SARF Project Steering Group as SARF funds are used in the project) to oversee the development of a STS
  • To work with the Steering Group at all stages in the development of the STS
  • To consult on the emerging STS with key stakeholder by way of structured Workshops
  • To develop an agreed text for an STS, and deliver it to the CWG
